As always, I’m insanely glad that it’s Friday. When I woke up this morning, I thought it was Wednesday (that day off in the middle of the week has me all discombobulated) and totally felt like this:
But then I remembered that, no! It’s Friday! And I felt like this:
And not only is it Friday, but it’s supposed to be absolutely gorgeous outside this weekend: sunny, mild, and generally perfect. I can’t wait to spend some time outdoors — I plan to go for a long run on Sunday — and get some vitamin D. I work in a windowless office, so the prospect of spending time in the fresh air and sunshine has me feeling like this:
I have to admit, though, that I’m seeeeeriously sleepy this morning — I stayed up past my bedtime watching GirlRising, which was amazing — and in desperate need of more caffeine. I try to limit my Starbucks trips to one time a month (either as a treat or when I’m in dire need of some liquid inspiration), but I suspect today will be the day I go for my monthly Starbucks run. After some espresso, I suspect I’ll feel like this:
